Welcome to the website for Uhuru Africa, we would like to thank God first and foremost for providing us with this opportunity and giving us the resources to be able to reach out to other people in this manner. We would love to see poverty being eradicated worldwide, lots of people giving their lives to God and to live in a world where people are not limited and suffering through poverty. Our human family need us, our brothers and sisters need us to support them in their hour of need. If it was us standing in need would we not like to think someone else would help. It is an act of justice.But in this new century, millions of people in the world's poorest countries remain imprisoned, enslaved, and in chains. They are trapped in the prison of poverty. It is time to set them free. Like slavery and apartheid, poverty is not natural. It is man-made and it can be overcome and eradicated by the actions of human beings. And overcoming poverty is not a gesture of charity. It is an act of justice. It is the protection of a fundamental human right, the right to dignity and a decent life. While poverty persists, there is no true freedom.'

We are a Pan African Capacity Building Organisation that seeks to alleviate poverty through capacity building & grass roots small business and social enterprise projects and support. We are more than a charity we are a movement seeking to promote economic independence and freedom as the name Uhuru implies through projects, spreading the gospel and campaigns. Assisting families to be provided with the support they need to break the barriers of poverty. Our aim to spread the gospel whilst helping people aims to provide not only economic freedom but spiritual also. Uhuru is the Swahili word for independence and freedom.

We bring a unique blend of faith, works and service together in order to contribute positively to the world. It has been suggested to us we should spread our work abroad and we do hope to spread our work worldwide and intend to do so according to the support we receive.
