Free Education Campaign for All African Children Tuface Nigerian Celebrity supporting our campaign From celebrity support to government meetings, read all about the recent activity and news regarding our free education campaign. Our founder hits the headlines in Congo before the 2011 election when she challenged the Congolese government to provide access to free education for Congolese children. Our enterprise projects in Kibera are shortly due to celebrate our first graduates and enterprise start up benefactors. We would just like to thank all those that got involved and supported our work. From market stalls selling products, to hairdressors, to producers of cooked products. We will look at expanding on this work and moving into market start up assistance as part of bigger projects in the year to assist in developing infrastructure to support the Enterprise Training projects and benefactors. Inspiring Humanity

Inspiring Humanity Fair Trade, Corporate Social Responsibility, Social Enterprise and Citizens of Humanity syllabus As an extension of the Free Education Campaign work and Framework for Minimum Standards, Uhuru Africa will also be preparing modules to incorporate these topics into the syllabus in secondary schools in African countries. In an attempt to address the issues of corporate and individual greed and corruption. Applications for this work are being submitted this week. Thanks in advance for your support.

Inspired by stories we received last year about the market in Kaduna being burnt down by muslim terrorist groups called Boko Haram in Nigera. We decided to apply for funding to build markets in slum areas to compliment the Enterprise projects and benefactors. We are currently in the midst of applying for at least two funding streams to do this work. However if you would like to sponsor this work please contact us and we will make best use of the funding opportunity.

Attire of Hope : Sewing Social Enterprise

As well as teaching tailoring as part of some individual enterprise/vocational projects, we also have a clothing line that our founder has donated designs and a style to, that we will be using as a social enterprise to fund itself and train more people. The clothing line is featured on our website in the shop area.
